Come and have a relaxing weekend roast in the atmosphere of the out doors.
Tables will be situated in and around the peach & plum trees of Wanaka Orchard in Oakdale Just 45min from the end of the M5 & M7 junction.
When: Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of October
Gates open from: 11.30am. Lunch served at 12.30pm.

Cost : $50 Adults & $25 Children 15yrs & Under
This is a booked event only and full payment is needed on your booking. (One of our team will call for your preferred payment method once you have filled out the booking form)Numbers are limited.
Please let us know if there are any dietary requirements before the day so you can be catered for.
What you are in for:Tables will be set as we do in the restaurant, with white cloths, Everything you need for lunch will be supplied. Your table will be for your booking only (if you book for 4 you have a table for 4 in the orchard).
Lunch will be a traditional roast,(beef, chicken & lamb) vegetables, salad, bread & condiments followed by dessert.
Coffee will be available for sale on the day from when you arrive.
For your beverages the event will be BYO. We will supply glasses, wine and hi ball.
There will be a large area under nets which give some shelter; there will also be plenty of large trees for shade.
In the case of rain we will organise an area under cover, or if picking hasn’t started in the packing shed.
After lunch take a wander or a tour around the working orchard and pecan farm next door. (Don't forget your comfortable shoes!)
Learn how the growing, pruning, picking & packing all happens. Along with the shelling of Pecans.
The rules on the day:Everyone will be asked to respect the property of the farm and not enter areas that are marked no entry.
Parents will be asked to explain to their children prior to arrival that the fruit on the trees which is still growing must not be picked and the trees be respected, as this is the livelihood of farmer Ed. This is something he sells to make money.
Please note there are dams on the property and children are asked to keep away from this area.
You must relax and enjoy your family, friends and the day out, that is what this Weekend is all about.
